About The Iron Letter
Welcome to The Iron Letter! Motorcycle letter art is THE PERFECT SOLUTION for the biker who has everything. This unique, high quality, framed letter art is for all the riders, and future riders, who would enjoy seeing bits of their favorite form of transportation displayed on their wall or tabletop.
Many years of experience in motorcycling, travel, and photography—combined with an Ah-Ha! moment in the summer of 2010—led to the creation of The Iron Letter, LLC. Other photo alphabets were all similar with the focus on architecture….why couldn't I create a MOTORCYCLE alphabet with letters dripping in chrome?! The puzzle-like aspect of letter art is very attractive to me. Is it a photograph or is there a message there?
In 2011, I began to experiment and slowly build my library of photos while visiting local Harley-Davidson dealers, on local HOG rides, and on out-of-state bike trips. This unique photo alphabet was created entirely from my original black and white photographs of motorcycle chrome. Cameras used to capture these photos are Pentax K1000, Nikon Cool Pix L6, and Canon Rebel EOS T3. My creative process can be described as detective-like …always on the hunt for new “letters”. Some can be quite elusive! I can’t think of a better way to express my love of riding than with a chromed-out letter art word.
After spending years in the corporate world and not quite “fitting in”, I have finally found my career of choice in The Iron Letter! My desire is to see you get as much enjoyment out of my letter art as I have in creating it. It is very rewarding to share in customers’ excitement when they see the their one-of-a-kind motorcycle letter art.
